Getting Around: Renting a car is the most convenient option for independent exploration; if you provide us with your travel arrival and departure information, we will help in coordinating group travel. Otherwise, it’s best to arrange for a car or shuttle service, which we are happy to arrange as well. Once in town, you can rent a car from one of the local agencies or rely on taxis, which are relatively expensive. Motoconchos (motorcycle taxis) are cheaper, but it’s best to stick to short hops and choose only drivers wearing their license around their neck or a yellow vest reading motoconcho. Getting around Las Terrenas can be done in a wide variety ways. Car rentals and 4-wheelers (Quads) are the most preferred method of transportation, while motorcycles and scooters are also options. NOTE: For QUAD Rentals the price is $50 USD per day, we can make all your reservations, please send your information to firstname.lastname@example.org
NOTE: We encourage you to fly into Santo Domingo International Airport (SDQ). See the list of airlines below which serve the airports in the Dominican Republic from South Florida.
